Hey, friends! Welcome to the Saint Friends Podcast—a podcast for Catholics, non-Catholics, or anyone interested in Catholic Saints. We hear a lot about Saints in our day-to-day lives, even non-Catholics. Saint Patrick, Saint Nicholas, and Saint Francis of Assisi are some of those “big name” Saints that we hear about all the time for one reason or another. But why?

Saints, despite being named so by the Catholic Church throughout its history, were all ordinary people living ordinary lives. They got mad at other people. They put too much salt on their food that one time. They did all of the things that you and I do but there was something extraordinary about their lives that made them a Saint. We can learn from them but we are not disconnected from them. That’s why we are calling them Saint Friends. Some Saints are like our best friends and some are just the ones we think about every once in a while like that friend from high school that we haven’t seen in 10+ years.

Join me and my Saint Friends each week as we look at the life of a Saint and discover how they were able to say “Yes” to God’s call to holiness. Who knows? Maybe you’ll end up making some new friends, too.
